The brand with the Little Red Strap - The Story

Caracoteen — The art of lingerie, made for the petite silhouette
For the ones who were always overlooked.
Some brands are born from a gap in the market. Caracoteen was born from a gap in care — the kind that lingerie had never offered to women with a smaller bust.
In 2012, Iris Mizrahi had a simple yet radical idea: what if someone created truly high-quality lingerie for them? Not lingerie built on compromise. Not lingerie that settles. Lingerie that celebrates, that flatters, that feels like it was made with you in mind — because it was.
Her muse? Her daughter, Carla. A young woman with a smaller bust, a strong sense of self, and the perfect embodiment of every woman for whom the lingerie aisle had never quite felt right.
From that mother-daughter connection, Caracoteen was born — the brand with the little red strap.
Crafted in Italy, by hand.
Every Caracoteen piece was designed and manufactured in Italy, with the precision and intentionality usually reserved for haute couture. Micro-modal as soft as a second skin, fluid viscose, weightless tulle, delicate lace — noble materials chosen not to impress, but to feel extraordinary.
The balconette bra, the shorty, the brief. Three silhouettes, thoughtfully sized from 75A to 90B, and from 32 to 40. Nothing more. The essentials, done perfectly.
And the detail that makes a Caracoteen unmistakable: its small red strap, subtle at the front, striking at the back. As much a signature as a promise — that this piece was designed with you in mind, from the very beginning.
One chapter closes. A final page is written.
In 2018, Caracoteen closed its doors — not with regret, but with the quiet satisfaction of something made with care and brought to life with love. The original stock remained, untouched, perfectly preserved. As though the pieces had simply been waiting for the right moment.
That moment is now.
For a few weeks only, the original Caracoteen collection is available for sale. No restocking, no new designs. One single, final opportunity to own a piece of this story — handcrafted in Italy, designed with purpose, and as relevant today as the day it was made.
Welcome to the last chapter of Caracoteen.
